- Queen Elyzabeth Park, and Van Dusen Gardens are within a few blocks. By late April, there may still be cherry blossoms in bloom to see in between milongas.
- David Lam Park (Yaletown) — another lovely cherry blossom spot in a trendy neighborhood, surrounded by eclectic restaurants and with easy access to the False Creek Seawall.
- Beaches: Kitsilano, Jericho, Spanish Banks — rejuvenating ocean air along Vancouver’s iconic sandy shores
